Inspired by the Taita collection's adaptive paper forms, this design translates structural folding logic into a festive graphic layout. It manipulates dimensional planes to play with light and shadow, capturing a warm, sculptural essence.
The card was inspired by book Point and Line to Plane by Wassily Kandinsky and my carpet collection Shadow. It is about relationship between objects and plane. And how we perceive different figures.
The source of inspiration for me was Urban Scroll by Stephen Talasnik and carpet Skyline. The idea was to turn traditional Christmas decorations (balls) into graphically verified black and white design typical for the early avant-garde.
